About Us

Since  2017 we have worked with poets Imtiaz Dharker, Poet Laureate Simon Armitage and Scots Makar Jackie Kay, in partnership with BBC Contains Strong Language.  Our current programme offers three mixed media performances:  THIS TIDE OF HUMBER based on a specially-commissioned poem by Imtiaz Dharker;

STILL, based on a collection of poems commemorating the centenary of World War One by Simon Armitage; and PAS DE DEUX, based on the poem of the same name by Jackie Kay. Each piece runs for approximately 20 minutes.

Our work is made possible by funding from Arts Council England National Lottery Project Grants and Hull City Council Grants to Arts. We are also grateful for the support of Anlaby Studios.
